About Brianne

Hi! I’m Brianne.

An Olympic Bronze Medalist turned Holistic Nutritionist with a passion for helping people get to the root cause of their health related concerns, and reverse and prevent them through healthy lifestyle changes.

Let me explain…

For 10 years, I dedicated my life to winning an Olympic medal. After graduating from the University of Oregon, I got an agent, went pro, signed a contract with Nike and set off to make my dreams come true.  In 2016, I won an Olympic bronze medal in the heptathlon.

It was during my time as a professional athlete that I became very passionate about food and healthy eating as it had a huge impact on my performance. I was fortunate enough to be able to work with a number of world-renowned scientists and sports physiologists who helped me gain a better understanding of just how powerful food, stress reduction, and a healthy lifestyle are, and how they contribute to performance. I began to read books, educate myself on nutrition, and create healthy recipes for myself and my husband, Ashton, who was also a professional track and field athlete and a 2-time Olympic gold medalist in the decathlon.

I stepped away from sport after the 2016 Olympic Games and went back to school to become a Functional Medicine Specialist and am working on my Board Certification in Holistic Nutrition. Today, I help people address the underlying causes of their health concerns (instead of just treating the symptoms and “bandaiding” them) so that they can get well and stay well without unnecessary drugs or surgery. I use diagnostic tools (lab work, food sensitivity testing, stool testing) to find the root causes and get a whole picture of what’s actually going on in your body. (See how you can work with me here)

Ash and I live in San Francisco, California with our dog, Zora.

My Education:

BA in Business Administration (University of Oregon, Eugene)
