4 Day Trek to Machu Picchu

When Ash and I travel, our goal is to try and totally immerse ourselves in the culture. We always do a cooking class/dinner party of some kind to help us understand their food, the different uses of ingredients, and the etiquette. We also try to stay in traditional housing instead of hotels. On top of this, we’re adventure junkies and if we can combine understanding the culture with doing something fricken awesome, we’ll definitely do it.

So, while a 4 day trek might seem a lot for some people, to us it looks like a walk in the park! We’ve hiked so much over the years that we know exactly what equipment we need and when. We often order from stores like Bass Pro Shops when our gear breaks and have become pros at finding Bass Pro Shops coupons to save ourselves money! So, we had the gear, experience, and hype to do the trek so figured “why not?!”
